Damn if this is not the best play on idiocy I’ve seen yet. Imho, I think it’s somewhat like everyone, everyday. I love the way Cox says “memoir”, and the last scene is priceless. After the show ended, I could hear the young punks in front (the same annoying ones that kept ooohing and ahhhing at random parts of the show) going “WTF?!”, and maybe they didn’t know it consciously, but that probably explains why it’s worth watching to begin with (I mean, if the “Brad Pitt dance” isn’t enough).

Megavideo just cut off my desperate housewives halfway through the episode because apparently I have already “watched 1929 minutes of video today” and somehow exceeded their maximum capacity.

You know, aside from the fact that I did not watch that many videos today (or any day, for that matter), I hope they realise it’s impossible to have 1929 minutes of video in a day which only has 1440 minutes.

Anyways I like Bree much better now, in the past seasons she was somewhat dark and sinister but now she’s just funny, especially her conversation with Danielle about homeschooling Benji.

Oh and in view of Gossip Girl Tuesdays, here’s some trivia -

What I accomplished this weekend…

Establish that my poker luck is REALLY bad recently. like consecutive 2/7, 3/8, no suited cards at all bad.
Sold the ipod classic, FINALLY. yay!
Found out that indeed I am willing to die for food. This shit is so addictive that I ate it bearing the pain from cramps, knowing it will only make it worse later on.

The puppy is treating my room like his personal bathroom. No, seriously. He was potty trained for a while, occasionally misbehaving but after all he’s only a baby. We figured that when he’s in the hall and sees the newspapers he recognises “woof shitting spot!”, but when he totters into the rooms where there are no newspapers his tiny puppy brain fails him.

But alas, now he SPECIALLY struts into my room, and pees and shits right next to where the electric wires (to laptop, tv, dvd player etc) are. Repeatedly.

Eh dog, you so small in size, how can you claim a ’bathroom’ bigger than mine.

And my tailbone is beginning to hurt again, I suspect it’s cos the pup sleeps on my lap all the time and I can’t bear to get up from the hard floor. We are slaves to this furball.

Oh I’m upset he doesnt seem to fly as much anymore! I wonder if we’re over feeding him, he seems to be groooooowing. I’m measuring him by floor tiles.

And where is my greys anatomy?!?!?!

It took a long time to deliberate between the glazed denim blue or the classic patent black. But it didn’t take a split second to decide “YES IM GETTING IT”.

Truly madly deeply delighted! (not so sure i could say the same for my end-of-month card statement)

This happens when you have like a year of “foreplay” before getting what you want. You pine and you whine and finally someone has enough sense to import the brand. As you know, I’m not a fan of international shipping, so after waiting for the looooongest time (and almost giving up), it is here.

Oh and due to a twist of fate (AHEM), I caught Eagle Eye instead of Mama Mia. Just as well. It turned out not too bad. I mean, discounting the fact that the identity of the mystery woman was slightly farfetched, it was pretty cool seeing all the tech-ie stuff. And you do spend a good half of the movie being intrigued at who the mystery woman is. (partly because it is farfetched that you could never guess). Better than those predictable plots where you can easily point out the serialkiller/mysterymastermind.

At 10pm I decided I absolutely needed to get me some good chocolate ice cream. Need is the correct word to use because, trust me, at 9pm I dismissed it as a mere want, until I spent the next one hour being in conflict with myself (gasp. yet again. see previous post) of whether to go get it, only to conclude at 10 that I was wrong, it is a need. And needs require chopchop actions.

So, got 3 mini tubs of ben&jerrys. Then comes the moment when I open the tub…

… The whole damn chunk of ice cream came out with the cover.

Damn 7-11 and their lacklustre refrigerators.

Wanted: A loose screw.

Something is wrong with my mind. My brain’s missing this integral bridge/link/screw/whatever. Or perhaps different portions of my mind are having a cold war. I say this because yesterday, Part A knew wednesday was the public holiday, Part A also knew that the next IP lesson was a lecture not a tutorial. Presumably, if all brain-infrastructure was in place, Part B would know that the day after wednesday is thursday, thursday is lecture day, IP lectures are always at 10am.

Yet with perfect knowledge of all facts, I somehow managed to conclude that I had a class at 130pm instead of 10am. So I wake at 11am, and maybe it was the battery in the electric toothbrush, or something, I had a horrible revelation that … SHIT, I just missed my class.
